Maria Chau

Maria completed her Bachelors in Kinesiology at University of British Columbia and her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in Australia. Maria enjoys using an evidence based approach to treat all conditions with a combination of visceral manipulation, manual therapy, soft tissue release, acupuncture, dry needling, and intramuscular stimulation (IMS) for pain relief and symptom management along with a personalized home exercise program to start as early as possible. Maria applies Barral's principles in her treatment "listening" to the body to find the main source of restriction along with a full body assessment.

Maria enjoys treating a variety of patients that range from the athletic population to patients with everyday niggles! She’s worked in the private sector in Melbourne and Vancouver and also works in community health publicly. Maria has experience treating patients suffering from motor vehicle accidents, work injuries, sport injuries, etc. Maria enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and badminton, going to the gym, and hiking.

Manpreet Parmar

Manpreet completed his Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Brunel University London (United Kingdom) after completing his Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. Manpreet's clinical areas of interest include low back pain and postural rehabilitation along with knee and ankle injuries. Manpreet's belief in movement analysis along with client centered care through education, preventative exercises, manual therapy and empowering the client to take control of their own health is what drives Manpreet's style of treatment.
Manpreet has an extensive background in sports such as soccer and basketball, having competed and coached at the collegiate level. He now has a new found passion for golf as well. Having experienced his own injuries, Manpreet is empathetic towards his clients and understands the mental and physical challenges they face during rehabilitation.
